This study examines the history of Akbar's reign (1556-1605) in Mughal Empire, focusing on use massive coins as a significant part Indian economy. The administration and fiscal monetary reforms played crucial role late medieval Akbar, third strongest ruler dynasty, ruled India for fifty years from 1556 to 1605. His were exquisite varied, with Din-e-Ilahi introduced his 30th year. state circulation redistribution monetized wealth, taxes imposed various goods. economy was larger prosperous during reign, gross domestic product being about 22% total world rule also promoted economic political unification Subcontinent, establishing law order, creating suitable environment commerce trade. Agriculture main source income majority India's people, canal Yamuna repaired reign.
